It’s been an exciting time at Materra HQ as we’re thrilled to announce that our legal team (Shivansh Sachdeva and Ashi Jain) has been agiven the Award for Sustainability at LexisNexis UK’s Legal Awards 2024!

Our legal team has been instrumental in drafting innovative and compliant legal structures and multi-year partnership agreements with some of the biggest fashion brands in the world. This has helped them participate in new models of sourcing that are fair and equitable and have guaranteed profitability to all stakeholders, including the farmers we work with.

Navigating complex cross-border supply chains across fashion, textiles and agriculture and making legal information clear and accessible for farmers has been hard work — it’s heartening to see the efforts of our small in-house team being recognized alongside some of the biggest law firms in the world.
